We’ve talked about this before…here is another good example of why drain cleaning products are not a good solution for long term use. If you have a slow moving drain, it’s clogged. You’ll need to remove the blockage properly with a snaking device.
Drain chemicals often sit in pipes for a while before they break down clogs. Often they don’t clear clogs completely and the drain cleaners simply begin to eat through metallic pipes over time.
Pictured here is a bathtub drainage pipe that was hidden behind the ceiling drywall. Years ago, our client could not fix the leaking pipe so they lost the use of the bathtub.
If you have a slow moving drain, call Chasles Plumbing Professionals before the problem gets worse.
